Rudy Giuliani Joining Smith in Hampton Wed.

The former New York City mayor will stump with the Republican gubernatorial candidate.

New Hampshire Republican gubernatorial hopeful Kevin Smith will look to get a conservative bump from former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani this week during several campaign stops throughout the area.

will join Smith in Hampton around 3 p.m. Wednesday for three stops in the area, including the , a popular destination for candidates running in local, state and national elections.

Smith will take a business tour of Foss Manufacturing in Hampton around 3 p.m. before visiting the around 3:45 p.m. and the 401 Tavern around 4:15 p.m., according to a release from Smith's campaign staff.

Smith also has stops in Salem and Kingston planned for Wednesday, and will appear and Bedford and Concord, among other municipalities, on other days this week.

Smith has spoken around the Hampton area this year. Smith is running for the Republican nomination for governor against Ovide Lamontagne and Robert Tarr in the Sept. 11 state primary election.
