Russian National Gets Three Years for Laundering

Alekski Shushliannikov was sentenced last week after getting caught taking mail from vacant homes in Hampton.

Alekski Shushliannikov, 23, received three years in federal prison last week that he used fake debit cards from hackers to steal money. He was arrested in Hampton in February 2013, after being caught going through a mailbox on Playhouse Circle. Shushliannikov and a partner laundered nearly $1 million before they were caught, according to police.
