Seacoast Artist's Work on Display Tonight at Bank

’s "Lobby for the Arts" in Seabrook is pleased to present “Sharing the Journey” featuring the photography and illustrations of Maureen Beaudet.

The exhibit  is on display to the public during regular bank hours through the end of May at The Provident Bank’s Seabrook branch located at One Provident Way off of Route 1. 

The public is invited to an artist’s reception honoring Maureen Beaudet on Thursday, May 17, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at The Provident Bank, One Provident Way in Seabrook. Light refreshments will be served.

Maureen Beaudet, a self-taught artist, discovered her passion for drawing and photographing animals and birds after an injury ended her amateur athletic career.

Growing up on the Ipswich marshes instilled a deep understanding and respect for nature and all its beings. She finds peace and inspiration looking through the lens of the camera or through creating colored pencil portraits, which
convey the unique personalities in each of her subjects.

Maureen believes our lives are intimately connected to the animals and birds sharing our journey through life. Dedicated to supporting both wild and domestic animals, she is a contributor to animal rescue groups such as Foster Parrots and the David Sheldrick Trust. Maureen is a Tufts University graduate and a high school guidance counselor.

The Provident Bank’s Lobby for the Arts program, celebrating its 15th year, is an ongoing series of local art exhibits displayed at all The Provident Bank branch lobbies.
