Sponge Performing Milestone Show Tonight at Wally's
The band will perform "Rotting Pinata" in its entirety tonight for first time in New Hampshire.
Nineties hit-makers Sponge headline a show at in Hampton Beach tonight, during which they'll perform for the first time in the Granite State their fan-favorite album, "Rotting Piñata," in its entirety and in CD track order.
The Detroit, Mich., band said they want to perform their entire breakthrough album during the 21-plus show — the doors for which opens at 7 p.m. — as a rare treat for longtime fans.
“It will give die hard Sponge fans the chance to hear songs that have not been performed live for almost 20 years," said Sponge lead singer Vinnie Dombroski in a release.

Tickets for the general admission show are $15 and are available at the door.
Hits like "Plowed" and "Molly (16 Candles)" from "Rotting Piñata" fueled massive airplay on commercial radio and were in heavy rotation on MTV, according to information from the band. Fans can also expect to hear songs from the rest of Sponge's catalog, including “Wax Ecstatic” and the ballad “Have You Seen Mary.”
