Stratham, NH – The New Hampshire SPCA is excited and grateful to announce a $20,000 Matching Gift Opportunity. The “Spring Matching Gift Challenge” will challenge our supporters and friends to make a gift and help spread the word for two weeks, at the end of which, our Friend Winnie the Malamute and her best friend John, will match each dollar contributed. It will be an amazing start to the Spring Season!
“We were overwhelmed when John and Winnie came forward with this amazing idea and generous gift,” said Sheila Ryan, Director of Development and Marketing. “Winnie is a most beautiful Malamute and inspires John to give to the animals who are not as fortunate as she is!”

Beginning Friday March 7, 2014, donors have an amazing opportunity to have their gift go TWICE AS FAR to help unwanted and unloved cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, horses and many other animals currently in the care of the New Hampshire SPCA. For the next two weeks, every donation made to our Spring Matching Gift Challenge will be matched dollar for dollar- up to $20,000!
$25 becomes $50…$50 becomes $100… $100 becomes $200 to provide care and shelter to animals in need.

About the New Hampshire SPCA
The New Hampshire SPCA has a long history of caring for companion animals. The organization is entering its 141st year of providing shelter for neglected and unwanted animals. In addition to sheltering services, the New Hampshire SPCA has an award-winning humane education department, a devoted cruelty investigation department and offers a myriad of behavior and training classes for owners and their pets. The New Hampshire SPCA is an open admission, unlimited stay facility and has an innovative transfer program that has given dogs from around the country a second chance at finding a forever home.
The New Hampshire SPCA is a community resource center that provides animal adoption, education, investigation and sheltering services in a professional and compassionate way. Normal hours of operation of the Adoption Center are from 11 am – 4pm on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11 am – 7 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and closed on Wednesday.
