Trucker Accused Of Killing NH State Trooper Indicted On Another Charge: County Court
Maine man accused of drug distribution; Londonderry man indicted on gun threat charges; Mass. man indicted in Exeter store robbery case.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.
Jay Paul Medeiros, 44, of Kidder Brook Road in Ashford, Connecticut, on a felony reckless conduct charge. He was accused of driving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 in a dangerous manner, passing warning signs in Portsmouth on Oct. 28, 2021. Dakota Merrill, 20, of Greenwood Avenue in Skowhegan, Maine, on possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. He was accused of acting in concert with Kyle Lloyd and Cody Mosher with intent to sell the drugs and concealing or removing bags of drugs to impair an investigation on Nov. 10, 2020.

James S. Morgan, 41, of Bridle Point in Londonderry on reckless conduct-deadly weapon and criminal threatening-deadly weapon charges, both felonies. He was accused of pointing a gun at another person, while intoxicated, and saying “get the f--- out of here” or words to that effect on July 31 in Londonderry.
Kendry Rosa Ortega, 21, of Dorchester Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on a felony robbery charge. He was accused of pointing a Phoenix Arms HP22 .22 caliber pistol at others and ordering cash and lottery tickets at a store in Exeter on Aug. 16. Jan Carlos Ortiz, 35, of Lawrence Street in Hampstead on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing cosmetics from CVS in Salem on May 4.
Jennifer L. Overhulser, 53, of Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham on reckless conduct-domestic violence and domestic violence charges, both felonies. She was accused of threatening and driving a vehicle at an intimate partner on Aug. 4 in Stratham.
Joshua William Palato, 32, of Morris Street in Southbridge, MA, on two felony second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence charges. He was accused of strangling and placing a pillow over the face of an intimate partner twice on Sept. 2 in Exeter.
Christopher Louis Plummer, 57, of Cross Road in Londonderry on a sexual offender-failure to register felony charge. He was accused of failing to report a new job between June 14 and June 29 in Londonderry.
Briana Prince, 29, of Fitzgerald Avenue in San Jacinto, California, on a felony theft by deception charge. She was accused of placing a false Craigslist ad for a vacation home and took $1,750 from another person on March 15, 2017, in Londonderry.
Jameson M. Reed Jr., 29, of Dexter Street in Derry on a felony burglary charge. He was accused of burglarizing Dunkin’ Donuts on Mall Road in Salem and removing a change machine on Jan. 30.
