4. Man drowns in Swanzey pond (newportdispatch.com) — Emergency crews, including Keene Fire Rescue, responded after a 42-year-old man drowned Sunday while swimming at Wilson Pond in Swanzey. Despite bystander help and lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at Cheshire Medical Center, and state authorities continue to investigate the circumstances.
