Granite VNA is seeking “A Matter of Balance” Volunteer Coaches to help strengthen the independence of older adults throughout the Lakes and Greater Capital regions. The virtual training is Thursday, October 1, 8:30-9:30 a.m. and the in-person training at Granite VNA Office – Laconia, 780 No. Main Street is Monday, Oct. 5 and Tuesday, Oct. 6, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 

A Matter of Balance Coaches will:

  • Help participants become more confident about managing falls
  • Help to identify ways to reduce falls
  • Lead exercises to help increase strength and balance
  • Feel great about giving back to their community
