Some New Hampshire businesses are doing it. • New Hampshire Bulletin (newhampshirebulletin.com) — Lebanon employers like River Valley Club/FitKids and Dartmouth Health are tackling the childcare crunch by offering on-site or partnered centers and significant childcare benefits for staff. Their efforts, alongside broader statewide discussions, aim to help Upper Valley families stay in the workforce and manage high living costs. 
2. OKLAHOMA! to Open Northern Stage's Summer Musical Theater Intensive (broadwayworld.com) — Lebanon and West Lebanon teens are featured in Northern Stage’s Summer Musical Theater Intensive production of Oklahoma!, running July 29–August 9 at the Barrette Center for the Arts. The youth cast trains with a full professional creative team, and the company is already planning auditions this fall for a 2027 production of Little Women: The Broadway Musical.

Legion teams encouraged despite ousters (vnews.com) — Lebanon’s American Legion Post 22 baseball team saw its strong regular season end with two close state-tournament losses, including a 2-1 heartbreaker against Keene. Coaches for both Lebanon and White River Junction praised their players’ resilience, especially given Lebanon’s short roster and demanding 17-game schedule.

Alan Michael Hendrickson (ledgertranscript.com) — A Marlborough resident, Alan Michael Hendrickson, died July 11 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon at age 67, leaving a large extended family and many friends. His obituary recalls a life of quiet generosity, mechanical skill, love of flying and the outdoors, and deep devotion to his community and pets.
