MANCHESTER, NH — A Manchester man was arrested again Tuesday on a violation of privacy charge after an incident at the Mall of New Hampshire last month. Travis Demers, 21, was picked up on a warrant after previously being arrested in July and August. The latest arrest stems from an incident at the mall on Aug. 9, according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department.

"Demers is suspected of going into the women’s bathroom and either videotaping or taking still pictures of women in the stalls," she said.

Police have been investigating Demers for weeks after he was arrested due to two separate incidents. The first was July 27, at the mall after police were contacted about suspicious behavior in a bathroom. Investigators eyed surveillance video and reported seeing a man enter the women's restroom. The man didn't exit the restroom for more than an hour, according to Hamel.

Police became aware of a second incident, a man taking pictures of a woman in a dressing room, at Savers on South Maple Street in Manchester on Aug. 2.

In a third incident, an officer working a detail at the mall was alerted by security that a woman reported a man in the female restroom. The officer located the man, later identified as Demers, and he was arrested.

"Police are concerned that there may be more victims," Hamel said.
