Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce Announces Resignation of Executive Director

The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce just announced the resignation of Stacey Bruzzese as head of the organization. Bruzzese submitted her letter of resignation to Board President, Bonnie Roberts, late last week and is leaving to pursue another career opportunity.

“I have enjoyed every moment with this chamber, working with local business owners in the greater Derry Londonderry area in my nearly two-year tenure. I would like to thank the board and our entire membership for their support. While it is not an easy decision for me to leave, I have been presented with an incredible opportunity for me and my family,” said Bruzzese.

Ms. Bruzzese joined the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director in September of 2012. During her time at the helm, the chamber has seen resurgence in membership and participation throughout the business community, as well as the development of many successful new programs and initiatives.  Passionate about small business, Bruzzese worked diligently to create multiple opportunities for members and the business community to come together to support each other in professional growth, business success and long lasting networks. Additionally, a new training program for female executives, an energetic young professional network and the creation of both a health & wellness and business expo were achieved during her term. Bruzzese was also instrumental in re-branding the Chamber as the “Voice of Business” in the greater Derry Londonderry region, and establishing working relationships with administrators from the towns of Derry, Londonderry and Windham.
