Two alumni, Bonnie Eckerman, Class of 1993 and Edwin Karjala, Class of 1986, have been appointed to the Board of Trustees at Pinkerton Academy. Both are residents of Chester, NH. Bonnie is a professional in the health care industry with a specialty in management of disabilities. Currently with The Children's Pyramid, she holds a Doctorate and a Masters in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Ed is a professional with an extensive background in high technology. Currently, he is Director of Enterprise Infrastructure, Distributed Hosting with Fidelity Investments. At The Berklee School of Music, Karjala studied Arrangement and Composition. "The appointments of Bonnie and Ed strengthen the perspective of Chester on the Board of Trustees," said Harry Burnham, President of the Board. "They also reinforce The Academy's orientation to students and technology." Bonnie and Ed will be formally introduced as Trustees to local school board members and superintendents in November at a meeting of The Academy with Pinkerton's partner school districts.
