MANCHESTER, NH — A Queen City man is accused of attempting to record video from underneath a girl’s skirt at the Mall of New Hampshire, according to police.

On June 25, police spoke with a woman who said while at the mall with her daughters, a man was walking behind them with what looked like a lunchbox. At the time, one of the daughters was wearing a skirt. The mom accused the man of “moving the box back and forth in the direction of the girls,” according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department.

“(The man) appeared to be pointing it underneath the girl’s skirt,” Hamel said. “The woman immediately confronted the man and saw what she believed to be a recording device in the pocket of the lunchbox.”

Police investigated the incident and requested a search warrant of the home of a suspect, Robert Torre, 39, of Manchester.

“During the search of Torre’s residence, several electronic devices were seized,” Hamel said. “Videos found on these devices substantiate the initial report that Torre was attempting to take video up the juvenile victim’s skirt.”
