Visiting Angels: NATIONAL WINNING TEAM of Walk to End Alzheimer's

Hip, hip, hooray for the Visiting Angels team for being the regional AND national winners for most funds raised for the Walk to End Alzheimer's. The Visiting Angels of Auburn NH team was headed up by regional Walk Director, Debra Desrosiers. The Visiting Angels national team (all Visiting Angels in the US) raised $100,137.57. Desrosiers team, "Angels Take Action" made a major contribution towards that total by raising $23,616.56 which included a matching contribution by the corporate Visiting Angels office. These dollars help to fuel the research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association to find a cure.

Alzheimer's is a global epidemic. In the United States alone, more than five million people are living with the disease and that number is projected to reach 13.8 million by 2050.
