Weather

According to the National Weather Service, it’s going to be a mixed weather weekend. Expect some showers in the morning on Friday with clouds for most of the day, with a high of around 50. Overnight, temperatures will drop down into the mid-30s (expect temps in the mid-40s in the Seacoast). On Saturday, mostly sunny with highs near 60 and a light breeze but expect some showers during the evening and highs in the mid-40s; it will be slightly warmer on the Seacoast. More sun is expected on Sunday, with highs in the mid-50s. Temps drop down into the high 30s overnight and temps slightly higher on the coast.

• The 2014 New Hampshire Auto Show is happening at the NH SportsPlex, 68 Technology Drive in Bedford on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are $5-$7.
• The city of Nashua will be hosting Community Emergency Response Training at the Dartmouth Hitchcock, 2300 Southwood Drive in Nashua.
• The Peacock Players present “Peter Pan Jr.” all this week at the Janice B. Streeter Theatre, 14 Court St. in Nashua. Tickets are $10-$17.
• The Artists Collective Theatre presents “The Belle of Amherst” on Friday and Saturday at The Hunt Memorial Building, 6 Main St. in Nashua. Tickers are $15-$20.
• The Slakas play at The Haluwa, 44 Gussabel Ave. in Nashua on Friday and Sunday.
• The Ghosts on the Banke at Strawbery Banke’s famous Halloween celebration will be held on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $8.

Friday

• Iraq Veteran and War Resister Camillo Mejia speaks at the Bektash Shrine Center, 189 Pembroke Road in Concord at 5 p.m. as part of New Hampshire Peace Action’s fall fundraising drive. Tickets are $30-$35.
• Downtown Concord will be closed from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for Halloween Howl.
• The First Congregational Church of Milford, 10 Union St. in Milford hosts a rummage sale at 6 p.m.
• The Southeast Land Trust’s 12th Annual Fall Foliage Fundraiser will be held at the Portsmouth Harbor Events & Conference Center, 100 Deer St. in Portsmouth. Tickets are $60-$75.
• Darlingside perform at The Music Hall Loft, 131 Congress St. in Portsmouth at 8 p.m. Tickets are $18.

Saturday

• Families in Transition’s Wicked FIT Run fundraiser will be held at 9 a.m. at Rollins Park on Bow Street in Concord.
• Runners and walkers are invited to the Witch Way to the 5K at the Ross A. Lurgio Middle School, 47A Nashua Road in Bedford starting at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are $25.
• The Fifth Annual Windham High School Craft Fair will be held at Windham High School, 64 London Bridge Road in Windham from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A $2 donation is suggested.
• The Poetry Society of NH holds its quarterly meeting with The Widows’ Handbook at Gibson’s Bookstore, 45 S. Main St. in Concord, starting at 10 a.m.
• Me & Ollie’s Bakery & Café, 64 Water St. in Exeter hosts an ECK Spiritual Chat at 10 a.m.
• A Happy Haunting Halloween Boo Bash will be held at The Rockingham Mall at 11 a.m.

• NH Audubon’s McLane Center, 84 Silk Farm Road in Concord hosts its annual Enchanted Forest jack-o-lantern event from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $6.50-$9.50.

• The American Independence Museum, One Governors Lane in Exeter hosts Ghosts at the Museum from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 to $15.

• The Michael’s in Nashua is holding a grand re-opening at 9:45 a.m.
• Comedian Tim Sample will be performing at Presidential Oaks, 200 Pleasant St. in Concord at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8-$14.
• George Benson performs at The Music Hall, 28 Chestnut St. in Portsmouth. Tickers are $60-$130.
