Antrim real estate sees property transfers through September (ledgertranscript.com) — A property at 302 Forest Road in Lyndeborough transferred for a reported $774,933, the largest of three town transactions in a regional listing covering Aug. 18 through Sept. 18. The other transfers were on Curtis Brook Road and Dutton Road. The publisher cautions that these summaries are informational, not legal records.
   

2. Jury Clears Lyndeborough Man in Keene Toddler Death Case (magic967.com) — A jury found Lyndeborough resident Annthoni Bliss, 24, not guilty of second-degree murder Friday in the 2024 death of Keene toddler Luca Hudson. The verdict followed a nine-day trial in which prosecutors and defense attorneys presented competing medical explanations for the child's fatal injuries and disputed how investigators handled the case.
   

3. Democrats win historic control of NH Executive Council (ledgertranscript.com) — Lyndeborough will have a new executive councilor in January after Democrat Melanie Levesque defeated incumbent David Wheeler, helping deliver the party's first sweep of all five seats. The council approves major state contracts and high-level appointments, and Levesque says she wants to accept more federal funding and improve communication with constituents.
   

4. NH's new Democratic majority has eyes on secretary of state job (fosters.com) — Lyndeborough nonprofit director Sarah Chadzynski says she has been asked to consider running for New Hampshire secretary of state as Democrats prepare to take control of the Legislature. Incumbent Republican David Scanlan wants another term, but several Democrats are weighing challenges ahead of December's legislative vote for the state's chief election official.
