Here are the top stories in Manchester today:

  1. White House senior advisor Mitch Landrieu visited to see how funds from the bipartisan Infrastructure Law are being used. Landrieu, senior adviser to President Joe Biden, toured a bridge upgrade on I-93 and improvements on Exit 4a in Londonderry on Friday, calling the Granite State "a model for the rest of the country." The infrastructure bill signed into law last year "gave the Granite State more than $1 billion to repair and upgrade its roads and bridges." (WMUR)
  2. Life may be grand in the metaverse, but in the real world, the login information of 1 million Facebook users may have been compromised. Facebook's parent company, Meta, said Friday that "researchers found more than 400 malicious Android and Apple iOS apps this year." The apps are "designed to steal the personal Facebook login information of its users," and were listed in Apple's app store and Google Play Store as "games, photo editors, health and lifestyle services and other types of apps to trick people into downloading them." Stay safe out there! (Subscription/Union Leader)
  3. Adam Sandler is coming back to his home town as one of the stops on his North American comedy and song tour. He's bringing a special guest. We don't know who that is, but that's part of the fun. The show will be at the SNHU arena on Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) Just so you know, the show is for mature audiences. Sandler is a successful actor, writer, producer and musician.
