113 MPH on the Everett Turnpike Leads to Charges for NJ Man

Merrimack Police arrest Jesse Guerrier on drug, resisting, other charges after he allegedly flees from state troopers, local cops.

MERRIMACK, NH - Police assisted New Hampshire State Police with an arrested of a motorcyclist who, at first, allegedly eluded troopers, and then, local law enforcement.

Jesse Guerrier, 30, of South Burnett Street in East Orange, NJ, was arrested on April 25, 2016, and charged with reckless operation, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana.

At just after 9:30 p.m., New Hampshire State Police attempted to stop a motorcycle on the Everett Turnpike that was reportedly driving up to 113 mph, according to a report.

The motorcyclist allegedly refused to stop, took Exit 11, and then attempted to continue to keep away from police. Merrimack officers got involved as the operator drove through a number of streets and businesses until he was apprehended on the property of Fidelity, according to Sgt. Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department, after a brief foot pursuit.

“The operator was identified as Jesse Guerrier,” Cassell noted. “During a search of his person, officers found a quantity of marijuana in Guerrier’s jacket. Guerrier was transported to the Merrimack Police Department where he was charged accordingly.”

Guerrier was held on $5,000 cash bail and arraigned the next day.
