Amherst Man Charged With OUI In Merrimack After Driving Off Road
Merrimack Police said Cody Fortier hit a tree and mailbox on Wilson Hill Road shortly before 4 a.m. on Sept. 2.

MERRIMACK, NH — An Amherst man was charged with operating under the influence after Merrimack police said the driver was found outside of a vehicle that had gone off Wilson Hill Road and struck a tree and mailbox. Police responded to an accident report in the area of 150 Wilson Hill Road shortly before 4 a.m. where Cody Fortier, 25, was located uninjured with possible signs of impairment.
Fortier was released on personal recognizance and scheduled for a court date at the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack.
