Merrimack Native Kathy Anderson Named Financial Aid Director at MGH Institute of Health Professions

Merrimack native Kathy (Lastowka) Anderson has been named the new Director of Financial Aid at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston.
Anderson, who graduated from Merrimack High School in 1983, has extensive and varied experience in the financial aid sector, beginning with her first job at the University of Georgia. She also was Financial Aid Director at Suffolk Law School before moving to both private and not-for-profit companies where she applied her financial aid expertise to issues ranging from higher education affordability to onsite regulatory compliance.
Most recently, she worked at Tuition Advisory Services in Watertown, where she created strategic partnerships with higher education institutions based on enrollment trends of client employees.

Anderson has a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire 1988, and a MBA from Brenau University in Georgia in 1997. She also has been a leader in the Massachusetts State Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA).
