Another Person Arrested in Stolen Jewelry Case
Merrimack Police allege that Brian Hurton assisted with the theft of a $13,000 pair of earrings last year.

MERRIMACK, NH - Police in town continue to make arrests connected to the alleged theft of a $13,000 pair of diamond earrings at the Kay Jewelers at the Merrimack Premium Outlets mall in November 2015.
Brian Hurton, 25, of Bodwell Road in Manchester, was arrested on March 14, 2016, on a felony criminal liability for theft of another charge.

Hurton was arrested after police reportedly learned that he allegedly was an accomplice to Frederick Cote, also of Manchester, who allegedly “deceived the sales clerk into allowing him to examine a pair of diamond earrings valued at $13,000,” according to Detective Scott Park of the Merrimack Police Department.

“(Cote) quickly fled the outlets, as Hurton drove the getaway vehicle,” Park noted.
Hurton was also allegedly involved in other jewelry robberies in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, according to police. Park issued a warrant for his arrest in January, according to a post on Patch.
Hurton is due in court on April 14.
