Barnstead Woman Arrested In Merrimack On Needle Possession Charge
Nora Dansereau had active warrants from Merrimack County Superior Court and violation of parole – after cops discovered her real name.

MERRIMACK, NH — A woman was arrested after police began an investigation into counterfeit bills being passed in town Saturday, according to a report. At just before 5 p.m., officers were sent to "several local businesses" for a report of women passing funny money, according to Sgt. Brandon Gagnon of the Merrimack Police Department. During the investigation, officers located one of the women accused of being involved in the incident.
"(She) provided a false name to officers," Gagnon said. "While speaking with the female, it was learned that she was in possession of hypodermic needles."
The woman was taken into custody but officers were able to determine her identity to be Nora Dansereau, 28, of Province Road in Barnstead.
