Bedford Woman Charged with OUI in Merrimack

It's the second offense for Kerry Jackson, according to police.

A local woman will be arraigned next week after allegedly getting caught with an open container while operating under the influence on Joppa Road in Merrimack.

Kerry Jackson, 45, for Hawthorne Drive in Bedford, was arrested on Dec. 25, at around 7:30 p.m. on the charges.

According to police, they stopped Jackson while she was driving a 2012 GMC Acadia for lane control issues.

“Upon speaking with the female operator, later identified as being Jackson, the officer made observations of her impairment,” noted Sgt. Joseph Goodridge. “Upon further investigation, Jackson was arrested for OUIL and transported to the Merrimack Police Department.”

Jackson is due in court on Jan. 13.
