“Witnesses helped point out the operator, who was identified as Stephanie Peltak,” according to Sgt. Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department. “There were no other passengers in her motor vehicle. While speaking with Peltak, the investigating officer noticed signs of intoxication and impairment. Peltak agreed to field sobriety tests and subsequently failed.”

The officer attempted to arrest and handcuff Peltak and she allegedly resisted, “pulling her arms and hands away from him.” After she was handcuffed and taken to police headquarters, a resisting charge was added. Peltak also allegedly refused a breath test, according to Cassell.
