When they arrived, they located the subjects who were reportedly loud, and while inside the apartment, one of the officers asked about a prescription bottle he saw that didn't have a label but reportedly contained several pills, according to Lt. Dean KillKelley of the Merrimack Police Department.

“After inquiring about this, it was learned that the pills were Suboxone, which is a narcotic analgesic and a Scheduled 3 drug on the DEA’s schedule of controlled drugs, which requires a prescription to possess,” according to KillKelley. “The registered resident of the apartment, identified as Trevor Fox, did not have a valid prescription for the pills and subsequently, was arrested for being in possession of the controlled drug without a valid prescription.”

Fox was transported to police headquarters, process, and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Sept. 15.
