Door Window Smashed During Domestic, One Arrested: Cops
Kathryn Burgess is expected in court tomorrow after alleged vandalism incident in Merrimack on Saturday.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman is due in court on Aug. 9, 2016, after a domestic incident during the weekend in town, according to police. Kathryn Burgess, 34, of Depot Street in Merrimack, was arrested on Aug. 8, for domestic violence-criminal mischief.

Police were sent to a home at just after noon on Saturday for a report of a possible domestic disturbance between a couple, where the woman was reportedly yelling.

“Upon arrival, officers learned that there had been a confrontation between a husband and his wife,” according to Sean McGuire of the Merrimack Police Department. “The wife was identified as Kathryn Burgess. During the confrontation, Burgess broke the window to the front door by hitting the window with her hand.”
Burgess was arrested, transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on personal recognizance bail. She’s due to be arraigned on Aug. 9, according to police.
