Eagle Scout Raising Money to Install Flag Pole at Local Church

Cody Twombley is asking for assistance with donations to assist with his St. John Neumann Eagle Scout Project

Cody Twombley is a Boy Scout from Troop 135 located in Manchester. For his Eagle Scout project, he is installing a 25 foot flagpole and performing landscaping for St. John Neumann Church in Merrimack. Twombley is looking for donations to help him finish the project. The details are below:

Hello, My name is Cody Twombley, and I am currently a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 135 in Manchester, New Hampshire. I have been in scouting since I was six years old, and it has become a huge part of my life. Scouting has taught me countless valuable lessons and given me amazing opportunities that I never would have had (such as hiking for two weeks at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, pictured above), and it has shaped me into the person I am today. The reason I created this page is to raise money to complete an Eagle Project. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it is the final step in my 11 year scouting experience. It’s a project that will help me demonstrate the leadership abilities that scouting has given me, but also to give back to the community that has supported me for my entire life. For my project I will be installing a 25 foot flagpole with an American Flag for a local church, as well as landscaping the area around it. To accomplish this goal, a lot of materials are needed such as the pole itself, tool rentals, concrete, lighting, a flag, and mulch to surround the area. Sadly all these things cost money, which is in short supply. My goal to complete this project is to raise $1500, and every little bit counts, whether it’s $1 or $100, everything is appreciated. Thank you!
