Erratic Driving on Daniel Webster Highway Leads to OUI Arrest

Merrimack Police arrested Linda Hestianna last week.

A local woman will be arraigned next week on drunk driving charges after being arrested near the Anheuser Busch brewing facility.

Linda Hestianna, 58, of Merrimack Drive in Merrimack, was arrested at around 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2015, for operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor and per se BRAC.

According to a report, officers were called to the area of Merrimack Drive and Daniel Webster Highway for a report of a possible intoxicated driver in a Ford Focus with Virginia plates that might be driving south.

An officer spotted the Ford near the Anheuser Busch plant and pulled it over.

“While speaking with driver and odor of alcohol was detected and the driver did submit to field sobriety tests,” Mptl. John A Dudash. “Based upon the results of the field sobriety tests, the officer’s observations, Hestianna was placed under arrest and brought to the Merrimack Police Department.”
