Fugitive Teen Involved in Gun Shop Burglary in Custody: Cops

Dennis Martinez of Nashua turned himself in to Merrimack Police today on a criminal liability charge.

MERRIMACK, NH - A local teen that was allegedly involved in a burglary attempt at a local gun shop is in custody, according to police.

Dennis Martinez, 18, of Harbor Court in Nashua, was arrested on April 7, 2016, on a charge of criminal liability to burglary.

Last month, police responded to an active business alarm at Merrimack Firearms on Daniel Webster Highway, where they discovered a shattered front glass door. They searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects involved in the alleged incident.

“An investigation ensued, and with the assistance of Pelham, New Hampshire Police, it was learned that Martinez and two others, were responsible for the attempted break in Merrimack,” according to Lt. Denise Roy of the Merrimack Police Department. “Warrants were completed for all three individuals, all of whom have been arrested on the charges.”

Pelham Police arrested Jonathan Flynn, 18, of Pelham, and Danielle Hagan, 19, of Hudson, and Martinez, as they were allegedly attempting to burglarize a convenience store in that community. Merrimack Police put out an alert for Martinez yesterday and he turned himself in today.

Martinez was released on $20,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in Merrimack District Court on May 5.
