Groundbreaking Held for Dog Park at Wasserman Park

Merrimack dog park has now begun its construction phase.

MERRIMACK, NH — After a decade of planning, the Dog Park at Wasserman Park is now in its construction phase and is expected to open in mid- to late-November. Once construction is complete, the Dog Park at Wasserman Park will be open and free to use for both residents and non-residents, according to a press statement.

The park is located next to the Wasserman Park Visitor’s Parking Lot at 116 Naticook Road.

On Oct. 10, 2016, members of the Dog Park and Parks & Recreation Committees held an informal ground breaking ceremony prior to the start of construction by CSSI Construction of Bedford. The lucky dogs and their owners all had a great time exploring the future dog park’s grounds and is looking forward to the completion of a monumental amenity in our community.
