Hooksett Man Arrested on Theft Charges
Merrimack Police: Andrew Flood allegedly filed fraudulent credit card returns while working at Sketchers at the Merrimack Premium Outlets.

MERRIMACK, NH — An assistant store manager at the outlet mall is in trouble with the law after allegedly filing false credit card returns and pocketing the money, according to police. Andrew D. Flood, 24, of Corriveau Drive in Hooksett, was arrested on Aug. 29, 2016, on a warrant for three counts of theft by deception.

In early July, according to Lt. Matthew Tarleton of the Merrimack Police Department, police opened an investigation into a possible theft incident at Sketchers at the Merrimack Premium Outlets mall.

“Upon speaking with store and loss prevention employees, it was alleged that Flood, an assistant store manager, had made a number of false/fraudulent credit card returns using his personal debit card and keeping said funds,” according to Tarleton. “After further investigation, a warrant was drafted for Flood’s arrest.”
Flood was arrested about two months later and released on personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Sept. 29.
