Hundreds Attend Reeds Ferry Fall Festival

The event was organized by the school's Wellness Committee in an effort to promote healthy, fun activities.

The Reeds Ferry School in Merrimack held its annual Fall Festival on Oct. 21, and more than 200 students and adults attended the event, according to the school.

Students participated in a variety of activities including face painting, bean bag toss, arts and crafts, and exercise stations. Students also had the opportunity to run a one mile race. The event ended with a costume parade led by the school mascot.

The Fall Festival is organized each year by the school’s Wellness Committee. The committee works to promote healthy and fun activities. Approximately 20 school personnel organized and participated in this evening event.

In addition, a representative from The Merrimack Public Library was present to promote its children’s program. The Merrimack Fire Department was in attendance with one of its fire trucks for students to visit. Currier Apple Orchard of Merrimack donated apple cider for the event.
