INSIDE SANTA’S WORKSHOP AND SANTA CALLING
Mark your calendars for the 22nd Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department and the Merrimack Chamber of Commerce. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, December 6th with the Holiday Parade starting at 3:00PM at the Commons Shopping Plaza and ending at the Gazebo at Abbie Griffin Park. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will immediately commence after the Parade, with a reading of “T’was the Night before Christmas” from Santa & Mrs. Claus. The Girl Scouts (Troop #10144) will provide hot chocolate and ConvenientMD will be providing treats to all Tree Lighting Ceremony attendees. For parade float registrations, please visit the Parks & Recreation website: www.merrimackparksandrec.org/events.html or contact mcasparius@merrimacknh.gov.
Also, the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with the Merrimack Police Department, will be hosting Santa Calls on Tuesday, December 15th and Wednesday, December 16th, between the hours of 5:30PM to 8:00PM. Santa Calls provides a unique and memorable holiday experience for your whole family! Santa or Mrs. Claus will be calling Merrimack children (ages 3 to 8) on either night, but registration is required by December 11th. Please visit the Parks & Recreation website: www.merrimackparksandrec.org/events.html to register or email gcruz@merrimacknh.gov.
If you have any questions, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (603) 882-1046.
