Nor’easter Still Expected To Hit The Granite State With Showers And Wind Gusts, Too: Follow-Up

GRAY, ME — Forecasters are warning of stormy weekend weather as a nor’easter strikes New Hampshire’s Seacoast.

The storm’s severity will depend on its trajectory, which is still unknown. But models show it either tracking across the Seacoast and some inland areas or staying just off the state, at sea. A high surf advisory is in effect from 8 a.m. on Friday to 8 p.m. on Sunday on the Seacoast, according to the National Weather Service.

On Friday, expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 60s and wind gusts up to 20 mph in Concord and the capital region, as well as Nashua and southern New Hampshire communities. Gusts will be up to 25 mph on the Seacoast.

Showers move into the region around 3 a.m., with winds between 15 and 35 mph on the Seacoast and lighter winds inland. Temps will be in the upper 40s in the morning and overnight, and in the upper 50s during the day.

The blustery weather will taper off on Saturday night and Sunday morning, but the showers will continue through Monday.

The sun will return on Tuesday.
