Local Woman Faces More Phony Money Charges
Brenda Summers was arrested in 2012 for passing fake $20 around and now faces charges in Concord.
A local woman will be arraigned next week on forgery and theft charges after a string of incidents in 2012 in Concord.
Brenda Summers, 54, of Coventry Court in Merrimack, was arrested at 5:31 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2014, and charged with two counts of forgery, both felonies, and a theft by deception charge. The charges stem from alleged incidents on Feb. 26, and Feb. 27, 2012, at Constantly Pizza on South Main Street in Concord, and Kentucky Fried Chicken on Loudon Road in Concord on Feb. 26, 2012.
Back in 2012, Summers, who was living in Hudson at the time, was arrested on numerous charges after phony $20 bills started appearing at local stores in late February. It was then alleged that she purchased Girl Scout cookies with the phony bills in March 2012.
