Londonderry Teen Arrested On Protective Order Violation Charges

Merrimack Police: Dylan Cote is accused of sending messages to a protective party twice in August.

MERRIMACK, NH — A teen was arrested in Merrimack on restraining order violation last month, according to police. Dylan Cote, 18, of Charleston Avenue in Londonderry, was arrested on Aug. 30, on two counts of violation of a protective order. He was held without bail.

In the middle of August, police took a report about a possible restraining order violation in town.

"During the investigation, it was learned that the above Dylan Cote had violated a protective order issued by the Merrimack District Court, by sending messages to the protected party on two different occasions," said Sgt. Brandon Gagnon of the Merrimack Police Department. "Merrimack Police applied for, and were granted an arrest warrant for Cote."

Cote was picked up by Londonderry police and handed over to Merrimack. He had a court date on Sept. 3.
