MERRIMACK, NH — A man from Nashua was arrested by state police accused of firing a gun while on the Everett Turnpike on Merrimack Monday.

Around 11:45 p.m., New Hampshire State Police began receiving calls about an erratic vehicle on the turnpike. The incident was reported by a woman, who was driving, and was concerned for her safety.

Amber Lagace, a public information officer for the department, said troopers were unable to intercept the vehicle on the turnpike but found it in Nashua at the residence of the driver, Matthew D. Lowman, 24, of Nashua.
