Toxicology data is pending on what killed Matthew Bailey of Webster, on March 6, although Merrimack Police believe it may be an overdose.

MERRIMACK, NH — The body of a man found yesterday morning on the Daniel Webster Highway has been identified, according to Merrimack Police. Matthew Bailey, 25, of Webster, was found at just after 7 a.m. March 6, 2018, after police and fire and rescue teams received a report of a man that was unresponsive on the side of the road. According to Capt. Brian Levesque, when first responders arrived, they found a man in his mid-20s who was deceased.

“The New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene and with the assistance of the Nashua Police Department, the deceased was identified as Matthew Bailey,” he noted. “An autopsy was performed on March 7, and the cause of death is pending toxicology. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death. The death does not appear to be suspicious in nature, Levesque said.
