Man Who Drove into Snow Bank Arrested for DWI

Merrimack Police arrest Louis Tremblay on Pearson Road.

A local man will be in court later this month after allegedly driving drunk into a snow bank.

Louis Tremblay, 52, of Grapevine Road in Merrimack, was arrested at 5:47 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2015, on an operating under the influence of liquor charge.

On the date in question, officers were sent to Pearson Road for a report of “an intoxicated operator who had gotten his vehicle stuck in a snow bank,” according to Sgt. Joseph Goodridge of the Merrimack Police Department.

While speaking with Tremblay, the officers allegedly “made observations of his sobriety and upon further investigation arrested Tremblay for OUIL.” He was transported, processed, and later, released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. Tremblay is due in court on Feb. 17.
