Manchester Man Violated Restraining Order: Cops
Merrimack Police arrest Nathaniel Burton last week for an alleged incident in November 2015.

MERRIMACK, NH – A local man was arrested by police for allegedly violating a protective order against a Merrimack resident, according to police.
Nathaniel V. Burton, 31, of Pine Street in Manchester, was arrested on June 3, 2016, and charged with violation of a protection order.

According to police, back in November 2015, Burton allegedly contacted a person in town that had an active protective order against him in family court. He was specifically told, according to Lt. Matthew Tarleton of the Merrimack Police Department, not to have phone contact with the person and that any contact would result in an arrest.

“After further investigation, a warrant was drafted and granted for Burton’s arrest,” according Tarleton.
Burton turned himself in on the warrant and was released on personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Aug. 4.
