Manchester Woman Arrested on Driving Charges

Ikraam Omar arrested earlier today in Merrimack.

A local woman is due to be arraigned in court next month on driving charges, according to police.

Ikraam Omar, 35, of Bodwell Road in Manchester, was arrested on Jan. 30, 2015, for suspended registration and operating without a valid license.

According to a report, previously, officers were sent to a motor vehicle lockout and checked the registration plate of the vehicle. The officer at the scene learned that the plates as well as the owner’s driving privileges were suspended.

Police issued a warrant for Omar and she surrendered to police earlier today.

Omar is due in Merrimack District Court on Feb. 17.
