Mass. Teen Arrested for Receiving Stolen Property

Merrimack Police charge Samantha Cicirelli of Weymouth after incident at the Premium Outlets Mall.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Bay State teen is due in court next month after allegedly being caught with clothing stolen from a local store, according to police. Samantha Cicirelli, 19, of Mutton Lane in Weymouth, MA, was arrested on Aug. 14, 2016, for receiving stolen property.

Officers were sent to the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall at just before 6:30 p.m. for a report of a woman and a juvenile who were allegedly caught stealing clothes at the Calvin Klein store, according to Sgt. Kenneth MacLeod of the Merrimack Police Department.

While investigating the case, officers learned that one of the women – Cicirelli – was allegedly in possession of clothing that was stolen from the American Eagle store in the mall.

“Cicirelli was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property,” he noted.

Cicirelli was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in Merrimack District Court on Sept. 29.
