Massachusetts Man Faces Drug Charge
Merrimack Police arrest Alberto Suman on a warrant.

After more than four years, Merrimack Police have caught up with a Massachusetts man on various charges including a drug charge, according to a report.
Alberto Suman, 22, of Roadman Street in Fall River, MA, was arrested on Feb. 18, and charged with possession of tobacco by a minor, unsworn falsification, and possession of marijuana.
Back in December 2009, Suman was passenger in a motor vehicle that was stopped for a minor traffic violation.

According to police, Suman was a minor in possession of alcohol and was placed into protective custody. During booking, Suman allegedly gave a fake name – Daniel Thiago Rodriguez – and was released on bail.
“A few hours after his release, MPD’s AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System) positively identified him from a prior arrest as Alberto Suman,” according to Detective Sean Cassell.

A warrant was taken out for Suman’s arrest and police finally caught up with him this week. He was released on $5,000 cash bail. Suman is due in court on March 10.
