Merrimack Man Allegedly Headbutts Woman During Domestic Incident
Police arrested Daniel Wilson last week after an alleged assault incident.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man was arrested on a simple assault charge last week after allegedly headbutting a woman he lives with, according to police. Daniel Wilson, 47, of Merrimack, was arrested on May 6, 2017, for domestic violence-simple assault. Police, at just before 8 p.m., were called to a local home to investigate an alleged assault incident, according to Sgt. Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department.

“Upon arrival, one of the involved parties was identified as Daniel Wilson,” Cassell stated in a press release. “While investigating, officers determined that Wilson ‘headbutted’ a female, who he lives with, in the face.”

Wilson was arrested without incident, transported to headquarters, processed, and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. An arraignment date, according to police, was scheduled for May 11, in Merrimack District Court.
Previously, according to a post on Patch in July 2012, Wilson was arrested on two simple assault charges, after reportedly pushing a member of the household to the floor and then pushing them in the face.
