Merrimack Man Arrested for OUI, Pot, and an Open Container
Police arrested Christopher Difrancesco after he was reportedly driving in a disorderly manner on Route 101A.

MERRIMACK, NH – A local man was arrested this week on numerous charges after an officer alleged noticed an erratic driver on Route 101A.
Christopher Difrancesco, 34, of Wire Road in Merrimack, was arrested on June 27, 2016, and charged with operating under the influence, operating under the influence per se, possession of marijuana, transportation of marijuana, and an open container violation.

While patrolling Route 101A, an officer made a traffic stop for “disorderly operation of the vehicle,” according to Sgt. Eric Marquis of the Merrimack Police Department.

“The investigating officer spoke with the operator of the vehicle, identified as Christopher Difrancesco, and noticed signs of impairment,” Marquis noted. “The officer continued with an investigation which included field sobriety tests and as a result of the investigation, Difrancesco was placed under arrest for operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor.”
During an inventory search of the vehicle, police allegedly found an open container of alcohol and marijuana, so additional charges were added to his docket.
Difrancesco was processed and released. He’s due in court on July 7.
