Merrimack Man Charged with Selling Marijuana

Police have been investigating since December.

Police made an arrest Thursday afternoon that is the culmination of a drug investigation they've been conducting since December.

Joshua Danforth, 26, of 102 Front St., Merrimack, was charged with three counts of sale of a controlled drug and two counts of transporting a controlled drug when police stopped his vehicle on Bedford Road. All are marijuana-related charges.

According to a press release from the Merrimack Police Department, Danforth was stopped by members of the Community Oriented Policing Services Unit and Patrol Division around 4:30 p.m. and was determined to have several outstanding warrants against him.

Danforth was held on $10,000 cash bail and arraigned Friday morning in Nashua's district court.
