MERRIMACK, NH — A New Hampshire man was charged with domestic violence and two counts of stalking after a Merrimack Police investigation determined he twice violated a protective order — including once in the area of the Merrimack Ten Pin. Craig Rowell, 36, is also accused of entering the victim's residence while being prohibited to have contact with the victim as a bail condition of a prior arrest.

On Oct. 14, Merrimack Police investigated a domestic disturbance where it was determined that he violated bail conditions from a previous arrest by entering the residence. Rowell left prior to police arrival and a warrant was issued for his arrest on a stalking charge.

Ten days later, Merrimack Police were called to the area of Merrimack Ten Pin for a domestic assault that also involved Rowell and the victim. Merrimack Police said Rowell approached the victim while they were walking, they argued and Rowell pushed the victim. This was also in violation of bail conditions from a previous arrest that prevented him from contacting the victim.
