Merrimack Police Say Londonderry Man Spit In Their Faces
Matthew Moulton was arrested on operating under the influence, threat, disorderly, other charges after an incident Saturday at a theater.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Londonderry man is accused of assaulting officers after an incident at a Merrimack theater Saturday. Officers were sent to a theater for a report of an "intoxicated male causing a disturbance in the business and making threats toward employees," according to Sgt. Brandon Gagnon of the Merrimack Police Department. Employees at the theater attempted to contact a ridesharing service for the man, so he would safely leave, but instead, police said he got into a vehicle and sped away.
"Officers were immediately able to locate the vehicle on Executive Park Drive, and were able to conduct a traffic stop," Gagnon stated. "During the stop, officers identified the driver as Matthew Moulton of Londonderry. Moulton showed signs of impairment, was extremely uncooperative, and refused to comply with instructions given by the officers."
Gagnon accused Moulton of struggling during the arrest, grabbing an officer, and then spitting in the faces of two officers. Officers were able to eventually get control of him.
