Merrimack Police: There's an App for That
Department hopes new smartphone application will enhance community policing.

Chief of Police Mark E. Doyle and The Merrimack Police Department announce last week the release of a new police department smartphone application to improve community policing.
According to a press release, the department is working to ”further enhance our communication with out community partners,” the new “MPD APP” has been developed by Cloudspace Mobile. Residents can take our new application with you on your smartphone and have the department with you everywhere, allowing users to be kept informed, or inform us while on the go.
“ Just not while driving a motor vehicle please,” the statement noted.

The application allows user to;
- Submit anonymous tips
- Contact our members through phone, email or webpage
- Contact our School Resource Officers via phone or email
- Access to our Social Media sites
- Current Press Releases
- Most Wanted
- Safety Tips
The app also provides direct links to other resources, frequently asked questions, and the ability to Commend Officers and create lists of people’s valuable property!
