Merrimack Town Council to Discuss Dog Park Sept. 10

Board will consider accepting $30,000 donation.

The Merrimack Town Council will conduct a public hearing to consider the acceptance and expenditure of the monies in the amount of up to $30,000 donated to the Merrimack Dog Park, according to a statement from Becky Thompson, the executive secretary for the town of Merrimack.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing which will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in the Matthew Thornton Room located at 8 Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack.

Supporters of the park have been working for years to raise funds for the park. The town recently won $25,000 toward the creation of the park as part of a national contest.
